Cactus Turning Yellow Cause

Why are the leaves of my cactus turning yellow?
I just bought my cactus a Haworthia Fasciata (Zebra Plant) in March and since then it has been kept in the middle of our living room away from direct sunlight. Since then the other two cactus’ because they came in three have died and it has left just the one which is turning yellow just like the other two. I am wondering if I am doing anything wrong, we do water it every 2 months like the instructions say but I’am worried that they may need sunlight or watering more often. We do have another two cactus’ that have lasted really quite long and they have been kept in sunlight and have grown well over the last few years. Some of the online sites I visited say this particular cactus thrives on sunlight so I’m wondering if that is the cause.
Thanks you to anyone that answers.
It is a Succulent rather than being a complete Desert Cactus . So if it was a Cactus than Water very Sparingly,Cactus Thrives on hardly any Water at all and a Full Sun . Best Place for them is behind Doubleglazed Windows where they can get the Maximum Amount of Heat to make them Flower.
The Succulents you have to be more Cautious, they can get Scorched by a Blazing Hot Sun all the time,so part of the Day with a lot of Sun and then the other part with less. They also need a bit more Water than the Desert Cactus but be careful wait until they Dry out somewhat.
In few of the fact that it is on it’s last Legs then stick it where it will get more Sunlight and see if it improves, you have nothing to lose.
I have had a couple of Succulents Die on me in the Past through either over watering or not enough Light.
I think the Haworthia is the Succulent that is Problematic to Grow. Try Alovira , Partridge Breasted Alo ,I have these and no Problems at all . The Partridge Breasted Alo Produces a lot of Babies and I have given some of these to my Neighbour. they thrive in my Front Window under Double Glazing.

What to do about Cactus Needles?
I live just north of San Antonio, Texas and I was outside and got into some cactus. I just had two small needles on my foot. One on my ankle and one on my heel. I pulled them out and a couple seconds after I pulled them out, it started stinging where they were in my foot. This is the first time i have gotten into a cactus. Is the stinging normal?
Yeah it’s normal.Benadryl will ease the itching.
